How it Works
As part of your St. Paul’s PACE health plan, your care team may determine that physical therapy will be beneficial to maintaining your independence. Physical therapy and occupational therapy can help restore movement and function, helping you achieve maximum functional independence and give you the necessary skills for ”living life to its fullest.”
Physical therapists evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system with the ultimate goal of restoring maximal independence. Occupational therapists help improve your ability to perform daily living tasks. Speech therapists evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.
Physical therapy, along with occupational therapy, provides you with the means to improve your mobility, whether recovering from an injury or affected by illness or disease. The more your mobility can be restored, the more you can do on your own with less pain and discomfort.

Participants will be assigned to one of our four Wellness Centers based on their preference and proximity to the location.
The day center is often described as a “Wellness Center” because our goal is to offer comprehensive care while improving every aspect of your life fostering wellness.
